It wouldn’t be an article about the Cincinnati Bengals without mentioning an early playoff exit. Well, this shall be no different. Lots of things have happened since 1991, none of which have involved a Cincinnati Bengals playoff victory. Jim Kelly lead the league in touchdown passes with 33 and Barry Sanders had scored 16 rushing touchdowns. In the NBA, Michael Jordan had yet to win a championship with the Chicago Bulls. In fact, perhaps we can call this drought the Curse of Jerry Seinfeld, not that he has anything directly to do with the drought itself, just that Cincinnati hasn’t won a game since this show has hit the airwaves. The Bengals won their playoff game January 6th. Seinfeld premiered on May 31st, 1990. Just saying, curses have been named after crazier things.
