by Mario Granata There has been a landslide in California for Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers as of late, and many speculated how he would fair without Greg Roman calling the plays. Well, Blaine Gabbert started this past Sunday so that pretty much tells the story, but on the other coast another rising star is in the making in Buffalo with Tyrod Taylor. Taylor led the Bills to a season sweep of the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday, and here at Hashtag Sports, prior to the season, we compared the two quarterbacks as the mold that Roman favors. (Just ask Alex Smith). How eerie are the comparisons? Take a look. Through the first 6 games of their NFL careers, it doesn't seem that Greg Roman has changed much. Here are the numbers for Kaepernick and Taylor as both managed a 4-2 record in their first 6 starts. When I found out these statistics, I was both shocked and hopeful at the same time. Kaepernick was able to bring the 49ers, under Roman's tutelage to the playoffs, but his inevitable downfall due to the lack of change in Roman is what eventually scares me. What do you think?
