When taking a look at the spot that the 4-3 Buffalo Bills are currently in the NFL, one has to ask if they really have a change to make some noise if they were to get into the playoffs with Kyle Orton guiding the ship…or the wagon if you will. However, there have been some less than touted quarterbacks in the past that have led teams to the Super Bowl, and a few who have actually won it, so its not so inconceivable for the Bills to make a run. Lets take a look at the quarterbacks who have made (and won) the Super Bowl.

Passion. Some people have it, but many people don’t. What does it mean to have passion? One can have it for their work, their family, or their hobbies. When you mention the word passion to any number of people in Western New York, the Buffalo Bills might sneak into the top selections of what they are passionate about. So, when the Bills fans decided to exercise their first amendment right, just before halftime against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I didn’t even react to it. Being in this area, you understand real quick, the passion that Bills fans have for their team, and when you combine that with a decade-and-a-half drought, new faces, and no clue who the owner is going to be, let alone if the team will still be in Buffalo long term, emotions could boil over…and they did. In the wake of the three-preseason games that have been played by the Buffalo Bills, many have asked the question as to the direction of the Bills, offensively speaking. Well, to answer that question, one needs not look any further than Nathaniel Hackett. Like a friend hitching ride home, Hackett’s train is hitched to Marrone, in a league that uses its connections more than politicians do. What does it say about the longevity of this relationship?

As turmoil continues to brew in over the future of the Buffalo Bills, new players are entering the game. Morgan Stanley, the investment bank handling the major financial piece of the new ownership puzzle, is welcoming a bid from the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres previous owner, Thomas Golisano. As the pool of potential bidding parties continue to dwindle to a select group of finalists, it has become apparent that no initial bid of ownership was considered enough for the National Football League franchise here in Buffalo. Now, as many of you know, if you have followed a lot of the Hashtag Sports Articles, there is a lot of speculation that goes into many of the comments. Some of them end up coming to fruition, as noted in an article on May 5th of this year, saying that if the Bills somehow were able to get Sammy Watkins, the Buffalo Bills might show Stevie Johnson the door. Unpopular as that move might have been, fear of the unknown is even more evident for the fans of the Buffalo Bills. But some moves that have taken place, might just be just as alarming looking down the road for the Bills' offensive starters. by Mario "Game" Granata
Trade up, trade back, stay put. No one really knows, especially the Buffalo faithful, what the Bills are going to do at the 2014 NFL Draft on May 8th, but where they go, and whom they select with their pick will tell us all we need to know about the direction of the Buffalo Bills. Check out what positions will mean to the Bills in the years to come. by Paul "Closer" Wanecski
As chronicled on in both previous blogs and on the Hashtag Sports show, there is a huge difference between players picked 1-10 or 11-32 in the NFL draft from a salary perspective. The Buffalo Bills have been in the news weekly about what they intend to do, be that trade up, trade back, or stand with the 9th overall pick. All bring different consequences. by Mario "Game" Granata
With the Buffalo Bills ready to come back to camp, and fresh off the 25th Anniversary of the debut of Major League, there are some striking similarities between the Bills and the ragtag group of players that were brought in to play for the Cleveland Indians. See who matches up with their movie counterpart. by Mario "Game" Granata
Making moves is an integral part of the National Football League, where there are no teams standing still: you are either moving forward or falling behind. When the Buffalo Bills decided to trade a 6th round draft pick, for a wide receiver that was carrying some ‘baggage’ from Tampa Bay, many in the 716 area code were wondering if this was a step forward or a step back. The Buffalo Bills were able to get a solid #2 wide receiver, one that is much better than a 6th round pick, and as many coaches will tell you ‘you can’t have enough talent at the skill positions’. What does this ultimately mean for the Buffalo Bills? Will this ‘gamble’ pay off for a team that hasn’t made the playoffs since 1999? by Mario "Game" Granata With all the talk about taking Mike Evans with the 9th overall pick, some have not noticed that the Buffalo Bills have a collection of receivers with size on the roster already. Although they aren't household names, they are big receivers who could have an impact in the 2014 season.
