Sammy Watkins is the best receiver the Bills have had during the drought. He’s never healthy. We should have drafted Beckham. Watkins is an elite talent. Looking at the factors that are involved when trying to analyze the reasons why the Buffalo Bills, a team that is starving for a playoff appearance, would decline the 5th-year option of one of their more explosive players. Perhaps, there are some numbers you should acclimate yourself with before you start to make your decision as to ‘why’ the Bills have chosen this path.

With the recent dismissal of Doug Whaley, everyone who is within earshot of the 716 is wondering who could be his successor. There are a few names being thrown around in the media: names like Brett Veach, who is the Co-Director of Player Personnel in Kansas City, Don Gregory, who is the Director of Player Personnel in Carolina, and Brandon Beane who is currently the Assistant GM in Carolina. There are many reasons why these would be top choices, but before you dive into who will be the new GM in Buffalo, look at the recent developments at One Bills Drive and the blueprint that has been laid out before Sean McDermott. by Mario Granata
Much has been made of the not-so warm and fuzzy relationship at One Bills Drive between Doug Whaley and new Head Coach Sean McDermott and a lot of people are speculating that Whaley is all but gone as the Bills General Manager. There are other reports that state that if Whaley is in fact on the outs, it would be foolish for the Bills not to retain him as a scout in some capacity. While other fans are reveling in the drama that they could only find in reality television, here are a few items to consider that point toward Whaley counting the days he has left in Buffalo. by Mario Granata
Now, much has been made of the recent acquisition of Andre Holmes by the Buffalo Bills recently, probably because there have been more people to walk on the moon than are present in the Bills Receivers Meeting room as of late. All jokes aside, did the Bills get a “find” by signing Holmes to a 3-year deal or is this just another case of a player that is out of his element? by Mario Granata
Doug Whaley says that the Bills are "close", but he doesn't even know what that means. I have been trying to come up with some way to accurately describe my travels through the Hashtag Vault. I initially couldn't find the words, but then it hit me: Blow this sh*t up already. The Buffalo Bills, for the past 17 years have been treating the symptoms and not the disease, which is the reason for their streak. It is finally time for some changes. |
