Passion. Some people have it, but many people don’t. What does it mean to have passion? One can have it for their work, their family, or their hobbies. When you mention the word passion to any number of people in Western New York, the Buffalo Bills might sneak into the top selections of what they are passionate about. So, when the Bills fans decided to exercise their first amendment right, just before halftime against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I didn’t even react to it. Being in this area, you understand real quick, the passion that Bills fans have for their team, and when you combine that with a decade-and-a-half drought, new faces, and no clue who the owner is going to be, let alone if the team will still be in Buffalo long term, emotions could boil over…and they did.

In the wake of the three-preseason games that have been played by the Buffalo Bills, many have asked the question as to the direction of the Bills, offensively speaking. Well, to answer that question, one needs not look any further than Nathaniel Hackett. As turmoil continues to brew in over the future of the Buffalo Bills, new players are entering the game. Morgan Stanley, the investment bank handling the major financial piece of the new ownership puzzle, is welcoming a bid from the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres previous owner, Thomas Golisano. As the pool of potential bidding parties continue to dwindle to a select group of finalists, it has become apparent that no initial bid of ownership was considered enough for the National Football League franchise here in Buffalo. by Mario "Game" Granata
The second game of the preseason is in the books for the Buffalo Bills, and while they were victorious over the Carolina Panthers, there were still some question marks as to how the Bills will fair in 2014. Who is the owner going to be? Will the Bills trade CJ Spiller? How will EJ Manuel hold up? As the game progress, hopefully EJ Manuel will as well. Mario "Game" Granata
After reviewing the Hall of Fame game between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants, many questions arose as to the direction of the Bills and how the 2014 season will play out. The Buffalo Bills have question marks all over the field, and even off the field, with the 'bidding war' that is taking place as to who the new owner of the team will be. Just concentrating on the play on the field, there was a 'deja vu' aspect that reared its ugly head in Canton, Ohio this past weekend. What did you see when you watched the game? |
