As the NFL rosters begin to take shape, the eventual release of players from the 90-man rosters is inevitable. Over the course of the pre-season it can be a huge challenge for coaches to make the decisions needed to trim down to the 53 player roster limit. While this happens, players you may not be familiar with become casualties of the system. This series of articles will get you familiar with those players who are hoping to be one of the few that make the active roster. Today, we will focus on the wide outs. By Paul Wanecski
Tom Brady has been suspended and rightfully so. Refusing to cooperate with an NFL investigation (also known as being a whiny-little-ninny) should now be a lesson to players; just be transparent when you are asked about something. Aside from the circus that has become his agent, Don Yee, stomping his feet and screaming to the masses that this suspension is unprecedented and without merit (and accusing the Colts of collusion, which is actually an interesting topic), let’s consider the information provided in Brady’s press conference following #DeflateGate coming to the surface. Because today will be a pretty slow news day, we decided to take a different spin on a story from a few weeks ago. When it was announced that Tim Tebow had signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL's official Facebook page posted the story. Well, that went exactly how you would expect. Comments filled with well wishes were sprinkled amongs the thousands of memes that dominated the post. While most of those memes were not safe for family viewing, we have taken those which were not vulgar and shall now share them with you! This post has absolutely nothing to do with our stance on Tim Tebow as a person, player, athlete or philanthropist. But let's be serious for a moment, an article of memes on how nice Tebow is wouldn't be funny. This is hilarious . Enjoy.

With Harbor Center now functioning, it is only a matter of time before the questions start being asked about a new and improved stadium for the Buffalo Bills. Location is of course up for debate. While we all have or preferences on where a new stadium should be (or if we need one at all) and the design, one thing that absolutely cannot change is the game day experience. By Paul Wanecski
When you take a look at Rex Ryan’s career either positively or negatively, it can usually be summed up in one word: different. He is a polarizing figure who is now the man in charge at One Bills Drive. One term you cannot use to describe him is that of a “quarterback whisperer”. While most people will categorize Ryan as a defensive genius, the criticism will always fall to the offensive side of the football. Ryan has historically struggled to have even an average offense. When we take a look at the history of quarterbacks he has had on the roster, perhaps he has learned to just survive with what he has been given. As the undrafted free agent signing period rages on, La’El Collins has found himself in an unusual position; he is a first round talent with major pending legal issues. As the law in this country is written, you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Of course, the court of public opinion has been in session for some time in regard to Collins and the verdict isn’t great for his future. Teams all around the NFL are in love with talent and at the price (now that the draft is over), how could you not be intrigued? We are going to keep a distance from the discussion as to if teams, specifically the Buffalo Bills, should sign him. What we will discuss is what kind of offer could be made to sign him. Many people have varying opinions of the Buffalo Bills Draft this past weekend. While the picks will be scrutinized in either respect for the 2015 season and beyond, the central theme here is obtaining players that can offer depth and with the opportunity to develop; an idea that has been foreign to the Bills for quite some time. |
