Okay, let's all get together and admit that the Packers were not the Packers in 2017. When the injury bug hits a 2-time NFL MVP in Aaron Rodgers, your team is going to struggle. Mike McCarthy has some new faces around him this season in the form of a new offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and general manager. However, the shift to adjust to these changes shouldn't be too drastic as they are familiar names with the organization.

The 2017 season went better than ANYONE expected. The Bills under 1st year Head Coach Sean McDermott and 1st year General Manager Brandon Beane somehow managed a 9-7 record, and along with a miraculous week 17 (Thank you again, Bengals) broke the longest playoff drought in all 4 major sports. However, even the playoff curse being broken couldn’t prevent the Bills from making changes to the Offensive Staff, firing Rick Dennison and replacing him with WNY native Brian Daboll. by Mario Granata
Adam Gase had a rocky sophomore year in the league last season and the Dolphins finished with a 6-10 record (after finishing 10-6 in 2016). What is the 'in' thing to do when you are an offensive minded and you feel that you are on the hot seat? Fire your offensive coordinator and get a new one. Dowell Loggains was the quarterbacks coach when Gase was the OC in Chicago and then was promoted to offensive coordinator upon Gase's departure. He presided over an offense in Chicago that went from 15th in 2016 to 30th in 2017. Not exactly an amazing signing by any means, but the relationship with Gase is there, so hopefully he can transfer what Gase wants on a play-by-play basis in Miami. by Paul Wanecski
The Raiders are always a fun team to pay attention to, primarily because they have the ability to make great or simply awful decisions. Really, very little middle ground exists and they are nothing if not polarizing. With new/old head coach Jon Gruden at the helm, steering the 2018 Raiders is going to be, as it always is, an unpredictable adventure. By Rich Brystron
The 2017 year was highlighted by one massive move, the trade for Patriots signal caller and off-season trophy Jimmy Garappolo. This trade was believed to be the catalyst to the 49ers resurrection from one of the worst teams in the NFL to hopefully one of the best. The 49ers were 0-8 when the trade happened. He started the final 5 games of the season, winning every game. The offense that was scoring 17 points per game exploded to an NFL leading 28.8 after he took control. Can he throw a football over a mountain? The Crew takes a look at Josh Allen and cover all the reasons you might love or hate him as a Buffalo Bill. Would they need to trade up to get him? Are the rumors we are hearing about the Bills liking Allen really a Russ-Brandon-Type fleecing? Dont a dink, click the link.

Alright, stop reading. Look up. What day is it? Yes, it is April Fools. However, in thinking of all the ways that I could bring these ideas before you, I could only imagine that releasing them on April 1st would be the only way that people would read them and say, "Oh, I get it." However, like many things in life, there is a truth behind the madness that you are about to read, and the NFL Draft is one of the most unpredictable animals in the world of sport, so without any further adieu, here are 10 Insane Draft Day Scenarios....that might hold some water. |
